Giftcraft to launch iconic Betty Boop collection

One of the world’s most familiar icons will debut on a wide range of original products by Giftcraft, Ltd., North America’s leading designer and marketer of gifts, garden and home décor products. The Betty Boop TM Collection will ship to retailers in the 4th quarter of 2008.

This exclusive license joins a distinctive lineup that includes the new Britto Boutique, a licensed collection based on the highly acclaimed pop culture art of Romero Britto. The Britto line will begin shipping Oct. 1 (www.britto.giftcraft.com). Betty Boop, with her luscious red lips and devil-may-care attitude has brand recognition of more than 90 percent. First introduced in 1930, the timeless artwork appears in a myriad of products and interpretations worldwide, with sales that have grown more than 300 percent over the past decade and top $1 billion annually. The primary market for Betty Boop TM licensed product is women and girls, and Giftcraft is developing a wide range of appealing items across its hottest product categories.
